Oregon/Washington Craigslist Ads

In an attempt to clarify:
TRD Sport and TRD Offroad models come with the standard exhaust piping, identical to the SR5 and base models
There is a dealer option catback exhaust referred to as the 'TRD catback exhaust', which does not come standard on any trim level.
I think @gnardoggie is saying he has the basic exhaust up for grabs.

 

FYI,

If anyone is interested I plan on putting my stock TRD sport 17 inch wheels up for sale this weekend. They are plasti dipped black and have the TRD center caps.

Once I get pictures I'll create a for sale post.

One last shot before I run to Moab next week. Does anyone between Bellingham and Salem have a DCSB canopy for sale? Looking for a standard height cab like an ARE CX. Black or MGM preferred, but not too picky on the color. Just looking for a decent price. Thanks!

 

I would check Eastern WA CL, and maybe parts of Idaho as you drive there?

 

I have been, but no dice. I've checked on CL and Offer Up for the last few months. Lately I've been searching Spokane, Bend, Boise, Salt Lake, etc. as well. There are a few but people don't seem to respond to their ads which is a bit annoying. Thanks for the suggestion though.

There are a few out there in the $1k range, but for a used canopy that is close to retail pricing on some of them. There are a TON of long bed canopies out there and not so many short beds too. If anyone is looking for a long bed one let me know. I've seen a few really good deals between here and moab, haha.

 

Unfortunately, it's supply and demand. You'll pay close to that for 1) no wait time and 2) availability.

They'll pop up once people trade in their rigs or switch up the setup.

why keep the canopy if you're selling the truck?

I have a 09-11 tacoma cd player, mp3, sat ready stock radio on eBay but I'll let it go for cheap to someone on here if they need it. I live in southern Oregon. PM me if interested.

When stuff is attached to a vehicle people automatically value it as an accessory.

Not saying it's logical thinking, but it is what it is.

 

Additional trade-in or private sale value with a canopy: minimal

Selling the canopy separately will (generally) net you a lot more money.

High top Canopy for 1st gen Tacoma ex cab

A good condition leaf pack out of 1996 4x4 ex cab (2 leafs and an overload)

A set of Monroe struts and a single rear, fits all 1st gen 4x4

6lug 15x8 (I think they are 8" wide) alloy wheels with tires and gorilla locking lugs
