I was mowing my driveway, hit some gravel, and sent rocks flying through the air. Big dent in my tailgate and the back slider glass also got busted.

Going installed replacement cost is around $525.00 in the little rock area.

Landers Parts just quoted me over $800.00 for the back slider window alone. Is it just me, or have the Toyota parts prices been going up even higher?

I had to replace the back glass of a 2008 Tundra in 2010 and that back glass was 298.00 and install was $200 labor.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Comprehensive Insurance claim when I did it with a log. Cost me $100 for the rear 3 piece slider on my 05 Tundra

I paid $500 for a windshield out the door, $800 for a 3 piece slider is nuts.

Is the back glass completely flat or is there some shape to it?

The fact that its tempered makes it expensive, sorry to hear that it got busted.

I hate filing insurance claims for glass since it's so easy to break. Got a guy coming by Monday afternoon to replace the glass at my house. Going with a non slider tinted. Cost will be a little over $300 installed. Just bought a BackRack Cab protector, and will install that when it arrives. Got the light tabs for the top and the antenna mount as well. Where is the best location to get wiring into the cab for stuff like OR lights and CB Antenna's?

Even though the CB airwaves are a zoo, it's still the best thing around for talking to locals and truckers when on long trips. I'll be installing a Galaxy SSB with a PA function so I can holler at idiots doing stupid stuff.

The 3 piece sliders are basically flat except the replaceable center is slightly curved. I've seen the center section selling for as low as $37.00
