    J Red - Can't say that I like it - no, on second thought I know that I don't!

i've always been so interested in radio, but never got into it. What do you use it for? I've heard most activity on there now is minimal at best.

I think on road activity might be minimal, can't say for sure, but places I've been wheeling have required some sort of non-cellular communications while on property.

How is illumination of the road? I replaced my low beams with LEDs (not OPT7) based on another thread and they are useless....might as well not had any lights bulbs installed at all. It appeared bright when looking at the headlight, but the road was not illuminated at all. I have heard that our projector headlight housing may contribute to this effect when using LEDs.

I was wondering if a radio would fit in there, thanks for posting! Where'd you route the wiring?

I believe the silicone oil base is what keeps it from turning white when rain drops hit the plastic. 95% of anything oil base products going to be flammable and being in the chemical field, you'd be amazed how many plastics come from Naphtha or a variance of.
I will definitely take a look at 303 though. Thank you for the advice.

Power wire went forward, out the grommet by the steering shaft. Antenna went back to the grommet under the passenger seat. I had to cut the back of the Qi charger trim to fit the antenna cable.

The light bar mounts are Rago mounts @ragofabrication
The light bar is a "50 RC X5 with whistle and vibration reduction technology.
The power cable run along the side of the windshield.

it honestly took me like 15 minutes lol I just used these plastic tab pullers to push the wire through in between the edges of the head liner and the rubber trim pieces but it all cleaned up very nice. It still looks center on the right window. It didn't want it mounted on the center sliding section. In all the whole process took 30 minutes since I knew exactly what fuse to piggyback on with the add-a-fuse
