So... one large hill, at 45mph, feeling the floor board one more time...followed by a "well good, at least if I lose it, there's a semi infront of me and not a minivan full of nuns or children..." .. and one Master Cylinder later..

I think the truck finally has worked out its pmsing issues of break lines, break fluid and anything else related to breaks.

 

Remind me not to let you wrench on my truck, its has enough asanine issues on its own, and i havent even really moded anything yet lol

 

It's not so much me... its the truck. Any time ANYONE works on her, she gets cranky. Same stupid things have happened every time. Hell she almost caught fire when we decided to put the hood struts in. Don't ask me why, but a fuse popped and smoke and fizzle and ... she was fine an hour later.

She bites too, Joe got bit, my buddy dave got bit... I face planted on the bumper.

 

Yer truck don't need mechanic it needs an priest.

 

Holy water in the cooling system might do the trick.

 

Or cause a fire.

So today was work on trucks day.
We up to my friend from works house and got to work on oil changes.

Ran to pick up filters, oil and dry lube, got into a fight with the guy from advanced auto parts over what to use on my Camburgs (hint: he said grease).

A quick phone call to @Blackout14 and text message to @Arcticelf solved the debate.

Oil change done, new windshield wiper blades installed, and ball joints are now happily lubed with dry lube.

Now the only thing left is to get the heat shield off and fixed, there's a pebble I can't get to rattling and the rear clamp is MIA, along with incredibly rusted bolts.

The next two major things to be done:
Rear suspension
AAL kit
And my Sliders.

 

I really wanted to punch the dude.

 

I soaked them today, and holy crap 10x better.
That can is staying in the drivers side door.

 

That was also our biggest argument, because I kept telling him the ball joints where exposed. And he kept saying it was probably my bushings and that they needed to be replaced.

 

Good to hear. I keep two bottles of the non-arisol stuff in it doors.

 

I'm amzed the dude even cared. The ones down here will sell you whatever you ask for, they don't really care
