image.jpg Hey Tacoma World, I'm new to the Forum and purchased my Tacoma a month ago, I did a lot of research the past year including reading all the threads here good and bad, I'm not new to Toyota as I have had an 07 Tundra and a 2012 Tundra and also a 15 Tundra and all Ben great Trucks!! Awesome Power and towing ability, just was tired of filling the truck up every 2 days lol... I read about the guys not happy with towing abilities of the Tacoma, and most were pushing the top tow range or towing in the mountains which this truck isn't geared for, so I new being in Florida and towing 2,200 pounds of trailer and Landcape equipment wouldn't be an issue!! And it was the best buisness decision I made I'm saveing so much money on Fuel I was filling my Tundra every 2 days!!! my Tacoma I'm filling every 4 to 5 days!!! So just putting this thread out there if it can help anyone make a decision a little easier...

Good to know. I'll be towing about 1500-2000 pounds in a few months from now. Everything I read says that should be no problem. Just more confirmation here.

That would be cool. I might try and make it up there if my truck is here by then....which it probably won't be.

Hopefully staging production by then. At this point, I would be happy just to have a temporary VIN.

Yeah, I am a little embarrassed to remove my old truck out of there. Buster and I had some good times..actually, Buster is now cruising the streets of Deltona with his new owner. I missed that truck so much I went and ordered a new 2017....even after reading all of the negative Nancy's on here.

Did you get rid of the Tundra because of the MPG? Asking because I'm actually considering a swap into a Tundra. MPG doesn't concern me though. Were there any other issues with the Tundras?

Do you need to know, or care?
Towing flat and in Florida, what made you choose 4X4 OP? Just curious.

I have been in Orlando for a week on vacation. I have never sweat so much in my entire life! I don't know how you guys survive down here. Driving the family around in a KIA minivan makes me miss my Tacoma.

Our second vehicle is a '15 Kia Sedona. It has Captain chairs in the middle row with foot rests. My kids would cry if we got rid of it baby trip longer than 15 minutes one way is in the Sedona.
