Walking around a park today I saw an Instinct gym that was a lvl 7 and fairly close to a lvl 8 so I decided to walk over and level it up so I could add a pokie. The bottom pokie was a 71 Psyduck and then a 991 Pinsir. I used my 789 Flarion (I know weak, but perfect for this exact situation) to get through those 2 and leave to level it up a bit each time.

While I was on my 2nd go around this group of 5 or so kids walks up and said "hey someone is battling it" so I figured they were instinct too. Nope. A couple of them started battling if and they were knocking the prestige down quicker than I could add it so I gave up. The kids left except 2 of them who stayed and kept fighting.

I walked off and caught some pokies and circled back about 10min later. Now only 1 kid remained and the gym was down to a level 5. I walked past a bit and pulled up the gym to see what the prestige was at and noticed the button to add a pokie popped up. I walked back close enough and through my Gary on it and it added about 3k prestige to it. I know that ruined that kids day.

This guy is beast against Exeggutors! Destroyed a 1700 one twice with it. @greeneggsnspam idea of types effectiveness stacking is confirmed. In this case, bug/flying vs psychic/grass

 

Caught this guy coming into my neighborhood tonight. First one I've seen in the wild.

My level 10 gym finally fell. Lasted almost a full 7 days

 

175 candies. Driving is better than walking imo
