Any info on the 2017 tacomas

Patience is the name of the game. You ordered the vehicle you want (pending they don't slap on anything additional to try and sell ya). It will get built eventually and waiting is the price you pay to get the vehicle you want. I ordered over 2.5 months ago and will likely be waiting until early mid September for delivery. Much of the wait is dependent on the type of build and the area of allocation.


BTW, what build did you place an order for???

Order is for a DCSB OR 4x4 M/T in Quicksand with Premium Tech, Tow, Tonneau, and all weather mats/sills.

I fully understand that this is a low volume spec. Could be waiting a while..

 

I just noticed your user text and looks like it's the same vehicle I ordered hah! Or close to. Good to hear there is more demand for the same build and that you've been given a timeframe for delivery.

 

Toyota changed my order when they allocated. Added steps, mud guards, floor mats, and changed the color from BBP to Inferno. Talk about a doubletake when I heard that last one. My salesman got everything changed back to what I ordered.

 

I have the same on order, just in MGM and no mats. I placed the order beginning of May and my build date is Sept 30th. I was having the same phone calls as you as they tried to find one, but this build is so rare that any they would find in allocation were already sold. They would get their allocation twice a month and I would hope I was on the list and one day it finally happened. just hang in there.

 

Ordered blue limited 2017 in canada. Build date is sept 29. Arrival sometime in Oct.

 

I picked up my Taco yesterday. The build date was 8/1 and delivery was delayed to yesterday due to parts for the tow package being back ordered when it arrived to the port facility. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I have to say the tech package has pretty much blown me away so far. Really happy I added that on.
