@RelentlessFab when you do cmc's do you prefer using a plasma cutter or cutoff wheel? I can see pros and cons to both methods...

Plasma! Since I got my plasma, I will never use death wheels again to do a CMC. Just use a flap disk to clean up the plasma cuts after. 1/4 of the time required. Just need a buddy over your shoulder with shop air nozzle.

Yep Jason nailed it, plasma hand torch and clean up/fine tune with a flap disc. Really need to keep the air gun close by to cool things off quickly too, dont want to melt the bushing too much

So, if I order the rock sliders and skid plates now, how far out is it before I get to put them on? And it sounds like I might need you to install the rear skid plate...... Maybe around Oct. 11th? lol.
I am about to order the sliders, but what are the 2 pc kick outs? do they not come standard with that little bit extra on the back side?

@RelentlessFab So exactly how far out are you booked up for getting a CMC done? Been thinking about this in prep for getting bigger tires/wheels than the 16's I have now, and I want to be ready lol

Sliders are usually 3-4 months, skids are a couple weeks for bare and another 1-2 weeks for powder coated. We'd have to look at our schedule for an appointment for install if needed. The Skid isnt that hard, but does require drilling 2 holes, one under each side frame rail.

We'd have to look at our schedule, I think september is booked pretty solid right now. If you call/email during the week my wife could look at scheduling for you, she handles all that for me.

We offer 3 rail styles, standard style (45 bends on each end, 15deg up angled), standard w/ fillers (no up angle/flat and welded in dimpled filler panels), and our signature 2pc kickout rail (90deg bent kickout hoop at rear, with 45deg bent front portion welded in with R gusset at junction. 15 deg up angled)

Not the greatest pic because I was stopped at a light on my way to work, but I saw this at the Ford dealership in Carson City yesterday. There were a few others there, and a live band, so some kind of special event. But just wow...

Also love that the guy's shirt said "Ask me about my Model T"

@RelentlessFab so I have a stupid question. I decided to just order the skid plates too, but the website wont let me use the discount code again. One time use for the code?

    Bare metal, yes.
Bumpers are listed 5-6 months. Currently working to get that down, just expanded into 2.5x the space earlier this summer and hired some new guys over the last month. Currently producing more than we have in the past

Cool good to know I'll probably just order skids for now
Still ok to pick up if we're local right? Not quite sure how to set that up on the shipping info online

Yeah enter a local zip and a 'Local pick up at Relentless Shop' option with no shipping charge should appear
