I had to take off the two bolts on top that secure the headlamps so I could get a little more wiggle room. Took a few minutes for each side. But they fit nicely.

I'm putting it on mine in October. Way too early for the fall wax here. I do the summer spray every week.

I usually do a full polish and wax every spring and fall (with spray wax in between). I just got the itch early this time around. :D

It won't hurt it to put another coat on before winter. I'm planning on a couple if I don't put the sealant on mine.

Found a great guy who builds kits for the TRD Sport guys that allows you to make that scoop functional (as a light).

@spartanxcustoms (Instagram) was how I found him.

Basically you take the scoop off, via three nuts and a plastic retention snap and ship it to him. About 6 days later he has installed a 10 inch LED bar and waterproofed the areas needed. The final light product is very good. I can tell he has great attention to detail.

The kit comes with video instructions to help you wore and route the harness. The harness that comes has abrasion protection around all wires and all connections are heatsynced to the harness. The kit has a relay, a fuse for the light and an add a fuse for the light up switch.

The instructions are very easy to follow. Just take it a step at a time and it came out great.

I highly recommend the product! Check out the pictures too

Great thanks. I think I'll be ordering them. Were they pretty easy to install and do you know if they will work with my stock switch?

Took it in to Sierra Toyota in Lancaster CA today to get the transmission TSB done. Couldn't get it done today "it would take too long", so I have to go back Monday. That'd be great if it wasn't a 45 minute drive from my house.....

Oh well, you guys that already have it done keep making feel like it's totally worth it. Driving to LAX this past week was the ultimate "searching for gears" adventure lol

Off road. I have a 4x2. This was not listed I n all the paperwork of all the stuff that they added like d rings, bed mat, etc. I thought I'd just have the normal paper filter so I never thought to check before I bought the K&N.

Do you still happen to have your monroney sticker? I wonder if this was added on as an "upgrade" by the port or dealer or included by the factory at build.

I'm guessing it was still added. No way it comes with TRD's.

I don't. Pretty sure I was charged for it though.

I like the lights a lot! They do a great job on lighting up the road.. I haven't had anyone flash me so far haha. But my gf was driving the truck last night behind me and the lights didn't seem to bright in my rear view mirror! But I think you'd be happy with the lights!! Let me know if you have anymore questions! If be happy to answer

Got my Lock'er Down center console safe today.image.jpg
    image.jpg
Install was easy, remove factory screws from bottom of center console and then slide the safe in and use the longer provided screws. The lid however would not close due to the front edge being to big. A few minutes of using the Dremel and it closed and opened perfectly. I called Lock'er Down and they said that they would send me a knew one and that they normally get that fixed before it gets sent out but I didn't want to wait. In the picture above you'll notice there is no slot for any cord to sit if you close the lid. Not an issue for me, I'd rather have a safe that doesn't have a hole in it.

Would you mind posting a picture of the underside of the lid showing the locking mechanism. I'm thinking of getting one of these but I was thinking of switching the lock with one of these https://www.boltlock.com/shop/bolt-lock-cylinders/7023482/ so I can use the same key from my tailgate lock.
