Boy, that was a wash out. How many trucks total?

If there is a BackRack on that truck, the answer is no. I sold him the rack.

There was about 10 trucks I think. Lots of rain on the Saturday , but all in all pretty good.

Btw how's everything going at your place? Almost time for a install party lol?

Well thought I post a little event that happened to me that may benefit some.

Had to get an inspection on my truck as my family was changing the name on the ownership. Well went to a local shop and they barely pulled it into the garage and told me "trucks going to fail, do you want us to continue with the inspection?"

I was surprised like wtf did I break that's causing the fail. Well apparently the inspection protocol for Ontario changed in July and apparently it states something regarding oem bumpers blah blah blah.

So because I had aftermarket bumpers they failed it. Luckily, I had an inspection last year with a Toyota tech and all I had to do was add mudflaps. Didn't give me any hard time with any of the accessories. He even said your trucks safer than most on the road...

Anyways in case you run into the same issue shop around and don't get taken.

My truck passed, no reason anyone's shouldn't.

A few weeks ago I bought a newer Escape for my wife. When transferring the insurance, which usually takes 5 minutes, I was put through a real grilling by some twerp citiot who asked a million questions. I was on the phone for 40 minutes. He also asked me if I had done anything to the Tacoma, because they cover up to $10K in additions to the truck. I told him I had put a beefier suspension on the truck, a cap, newer NAV system, etc. He said fine, but asked why I did all this work to the truck. I asked him what he was wearing. Two weeks later I get a call from Mr. Twerp who informs me that they were going to deny any further coverage on the Taco because I had modified the suspension. I lost it.

I had to take my truck to Toyota so as to confirm that the suspension was not modified and still aligned to factory specifications. The Service Manager completely lost it too, and asked me WTF does an insurance company know about 'upgraded suspensions'??!! My answer was, "You tell me."

I had to send a letter to the insurance company from the service manager (who really likes my truck) stating that the suspension was merely 'upgraded within specs', and not modified. I also had to send pics, so I bombarded them with pics (and costs) of every upgrade that I did to the truck. I haven't heard back from Mr. Twerp, but the company confirms that I still have coverage. Fuck 'em.

The company has turned into real dicks ever since TD bought Meloche Monnex. My home insurance has gone through the roof. I'm changing insurance companies at next renewal.

Yeah its really crazy. Just wished some of them buggered off and stayed behind their desks. Friend of mine was called and told his insurance was going to be cancelled within the week because of a ticket that got cleared up years before. After he cleared his own name and what not, he told the insurance to go chase their tale. They were confused why....unbelievable some of these companies out there.

Adding this up here if anyone is interested. Was planning the weekend of October 22nd. The campsite is closed next weekend as the owners are away, so it has to be the weekend after that (22nd)

I am not too sure if the campsite is open for tent camping as I inquired about their log cabins. Will be calling this week about ground tenting.

Yes sir. May go up on the Friday night camp out and run the trail on the Saturday, and then camp on again, head home on Sunday

Llamsmurf will be showing us a around. But with the maps and 300km of trail it should be a good time. He is stock as well, so between me with the winch and what not we should be good.

I mentioned this to sorgon82 in a private conversation, the VMUTS are all on crown land, so you can just setup camp on the trails themselves with no worries. Lots of places to do it.

Awesome. I think the girlfriend likes having the bathroom and what not, so we will most likely be camping at the camp site.

However if we are doing a long trail that require us to camp out on the trail we can do that too. I assumed we were doing a day run and you were heading home?

@sorgon82 are you camping on the trail? Don't want to leave ya hanging.

Okie dokie. We will most likely camp on Friday and meet you at the trail head on the Saturday morning/afternoon (what ever you think).

We will figure out details closer to the date I guess.

Morning would be best, that way we can trail until you guys want to stop and you can return to camp action early. Since the sun will be going down sooner and sooner :D

We're going to be coming up friday as well Most likely. That campground that was mentioned in the ontario bs thread by imasmurf says they only have cabin rentals availible for $350 2 nights as camping is closed for the season.
At this point im debating staying somewhere else or camping on the trail. Its getting pretty cold at night and I know how the girlfriend gets.
