Aftermarket OEM replacement shocks/springs?

    sorry for posting this, let me know if mod wants me to delete.
    Ill also be using the Search.

    Okay so my 2003 Tacoma PreRunner still has the Original OEM shocks and springs on it, the ride is obviously terrible.
    Floats like an old Cadi and the rear leaf springs are flat.

    I dont want to lift it, just want to see what you guys would recommend for OEM ride height and maybe better handling.
    I dont want anything too crazy.

    Again i apologize for making the thread.

    Since your current stuff is old and tired, pretty much anything will be an upgrade. Just go on rock auto or a similar site and look for a shock with good reviews.

    I don't know much about suspension, but I do know from experience not to put OEM leaf springs back in. They will look just as flat and wore out as the old ones.

    I have heard good things about the General heavy duty leaf springs, prices aren't bad either.

    Makes sense, ill look on PartsGeek too and see what they offer.

    OEM equivelant.
    To be fair this truck is 13 years old

    Yeah, I bought the OEM equivalent leaf springs off Parts Geek. Horrible. Big waste of money.
