@bayareataco has me convinced I need to go get a bottle of the Jameson Rarest Reserve.

Also, my father in law told me he's sitting on 2 bottles of some super special Jameson they only did a limited run on, he says they are a 26 year or something like that. Can anyone confirm if thats just the Rarest Reserve or was there an actual limited release of something else. He says they were about $400 a bottle. If I get a chance to cruise by his house soon Ill get him to show me the bottles lol

Edit- I also drunkenly recall him saying when I give him another grandkid he'll be bringing a bottle along. The first grandkid he apparently forgot to bring it lol

I paid $350 for a Colorado small batch and it was worth it!

Never been a fan of any Jameson's. Too much other good stuff out there.

Just got this as a gift. Never even heard of this stuff. Apparently Welsh make whiskey... And speak a language you can't understand.

Got a little buzz on from some Buffalo Trace. I'm from Kentucky, so naturally bourbon is in my blood. For the price, I would stack some Buffalo Trace against any other top shelf bourbon that cost more. I do love me some Woodford Reserve, but like I said, for the price you can't beat that BT!

My house brand is Wild Turkey 101, 37 bucks a half gallon and I tend to keep a few in stock... but i've got a few bottles of Willet Pot Still Reserve (can't find lately), Jefferson's Reserve, and my favorite at the "low end" price point - Old Weller Antique 107 (can't find it lately). Also have a bottle of Rowan's Creek, Knob Creek Single Barrel, Jim Beam Single Barrel, and Basil Hayden. I have a small bourbon bar setup in the man cave, the misses keeps her rum's and vodka's elsewhere.

I like Balvenie doublewood 12 yr. Macallan 12 yr. Mostly speysides, but if I am in the mood for an Islay it's Lagavulin 16 or Laphroaig 15.
