Since I am moving next Saturday and want to move as little stuff as possible, I finally got around to getting pictures of my old suspension that came off the truck. Everything has 30k miles on it and is in good working order:

OME 90000 front struts with 885x springs: $300

Passenger side LCA with intact bushings and balljoint. Comes with LCA bolts/sleeves as well: $200

Front and rear bumpstops: $20/pair

Dakar length U-bolts with OEM bottom plate: $20

ICON bump stop plates for non-flipped U-bolts: $20

Trying to clearance some 255s. I'm barely rubbing the cab mount flexed but the fender wells need some cutting

 

Barely rub is still a rub. Sounds like a cab mount chop qualifier to me.

 

i thought 255;s would clear on stock suspension? that's what i read on the thread huh

 

Ive got offset wheels and 1 1/4 spidertrax spacers so it throws that off.

 

Have you priced it out yet?

About $30 if I do it including paint. But..... not sure if I trust my welding skills. I know I can stitch weld it together but I know it won't look clean so who knows. I picked up a millermatic 141 about 2 years ago that accepts 115v but only messed with it on my flat bed.

 

It's definitely a bit tricky if you haven't done it before. Especially since you can't always get the gun in the best position.

No problem. I don't think you are going as aggressive with your cmc as I did with mine so it won't pose as many angle problems, but your first is always a bit tricky.

 

Did you box yours? I'd rather cut more now than have to do it down the road when I go 35s... going to be a lot of ,already have a BFH for the firewall and pinch welds and 456 gears. Unless some company starts making fiberglass that isn't too aggressive so I can leave my front fenders alone and have a good set of spare fenders

 

CMC party at @TacoFMS house! I need mine done too. @90yota I can probably cut it, its the welding that is harder. And, no, i dont need a certified welder to do anything
