    Thanks for the reply.

Long term plans include a similar setup so I can carry long pieces of fully supported lumber, always concerned with the variations between cab/shell rack height/angle.

ok cool thanks for the info well that might have just made my mind up on a roof rack and I'm gonna go with the prinsu designs access rack seeing ad it's actually made for the access cabs I'll still have to drill holes in the roof though no way around it that I can think of anyway

Actually @Gramps was wrong. Contact FrontRunner and ask about their Access Cab rack. They have made a few, just don't list it. I'm sure they would email you some pics. You would have to drill just like Prinsu, but its another option. Just letting you know that you don't have to modify the Double cab rack and it would probably be cheaper than the DC rack seeing as its smaller.

Well, technically I wasn't wrong since that isn't public knowledge and was only sharing information that was public. :p :D

But that is good to know because I have had some others ask about an access cab one as well. They should really at least list a note to call them about an access cab on their site.

I'm definitely in - if this rack is available:

    KRCA004T - Pick-Up Truck Canopy/Trailer Roof Cargo Rack Kit / 1165mm(W) X 1156mm(L)

Let's hope that you make it to 31 on the GB.

    Hey, @SixthSnail!

Not sure why I wasn't notified about your message.... n00b problems. I'll have to check my forum alert settings...

You've got a deal! I will take you up on that offer. I can't hear my current Hi-Lift tube-mount brackets over the jack rattling around so it won't bother me. I usually throw a few bungee cords on there to keep the noise down.

Let me know if you find it, what shipping will run me and if you can take PayPal.

    Appreciate it!

    Dan

If any of you who get a rack want to make some cash off your dc roof moulding strips, namely the drivers side, I'd be happy to take them off your hands

I inquired with frontrunner about canopy roof racks. Figured I'd share the info for those interested.

Now let's get up to 31 so the wife approves my second rack!

    Hello,

You would use KRCAT05T for the short bed Tacoma, and KRCAT01T for the long bed Tacoma. Both kits come with mounting tracks, but you can use the Yakima ones already mounted to your canopy. You'll need to swap some hardware out for M6 bolts and purchase the Yakima Anchor Plates, but thats about it.

    Travel safe!

Can someone enlighten me how the group buys actually works, and how you go about getting the correct rack size and ect ?

Once it closes, i send ordering instructions out via PM.

We usually give about a week to pay after the closing date, unless other arrangements are done w the vendor.

Hey @ramonortiz55 I'm interested in the GB, but do you know if they will still honor free shipping to Hawaii? I would be down for the KRTF050T for my 4Runner if they will do free shipping.
