Nice, you guys will be right across the street from us at McD's. We should all say hey before we head out. Sure you don't want to come out to MJT? :boink:

Yeah, swing on by, or vise Verza. We'll be a small group mostly testing out new installs and we have a couple 2wd trucks so no MJT. Plan is to swing around the backside of Los Padres so we'll meet you at the top for lunch and laughs! What time you leaving Tujunga? Caravan?

Was going to head out around 7:45, usually takes about 50min to get to Gorman from my place in Tujunga. Definitely up for a caravan, you guys meeting anywhere in particular out here before you head out?

Just me from here. Meeting a buddy in Stevenson ranch then the rest at the Gorman exit. Want to meet at Starbucks on foothill next to Panda?

See you there. There is usually better parking next door at the liquor store and empty storefront adjacent.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I can only speak for the 4L as far as actual application, but, for a total novice, other than learning a few mistakes: it's more than an hour but certainly not a whole day. Just watch the guides, have the anti-seize, and remember that having wet threads always means a few pounds LOWER on the torque wrench.

True true. All it takes is few droplets to hydrolock though. The approach speed entering and the the controlled speed in the drink is a skill. Flooring it through is a knee jerk reaction. Steady state speed is what's important allowing the tires to do work.

Yeah that first crossing was pretty deep and somehow after crossing it the last time, my AC kinda went crazy. Went back to normal a few minutes after though.
