    Since MobTown hasn't replied, it appears the cart system works weird.

    When you apply the coupon, it appears that it does not change the price:

    If you click "Proceed To Checkout", then the discount shows:

    What's weird, is if you go back to the original cart, and click "[Remove]" on the coupon row, the discount now shows also:

    The plate would have to be dropped. We build them to the more popular configuration. With all our products, we sell 20 to 1 V6 vs 4 cyl.

    Understandable, but also a bit of a bummer. It's hard to shell out that kind of dough for a product that's built with somebody else's truck and needs in mind. I have no doubt that you'll never be selling nearly as much armor to the 4-banger owners, for obvious reasons, but for something like the ifs skid, you'd probably sell more than you do to the 4-banger crowd if there was an option that accommodated them.

    I'd probably just go the aluminum route, but the apparent lack of internal structural reinforcement and the 'no off road use' disclaimer makes it seem like a pricey gamble.

    I understand your concern on the aluminum skid plate disclaimer. But we build them no differently than anyone else, we are the only ones with the disclaimer because we know you bash on one rock and it is toast.

    They will certainly protect more than the stock ones and will do you just fine for very light off-roading.
