That's about the only place it'll work. Most of the NMW doesn't even have electricity, let alone cell service. That's what makes it so awesome though.

That being said I'll be down here in the people's Republik being jealous.

Jealous. You all have fun and be safe. I'll see the trains this winter at some point.

You guys are doing this at the right time, that is, before it's too late. Millinocket should be buzzing with the recent news from Roxanne Quimby's horrific victory. In 4 years you likely won't be able to drive anything with an internal combustion engine there. It'll be the Yellowstone of the East.

No. We are going to stay in Millinocket so we will be north east of Jackman. I think if we go through Baxter State forest and go up from there it should be a nice trip. I'll see what the rest of them have come up with

Nice. Probably less likely to lose a tire, too. There's a lot less shale on the roads through Baxter than there is on most of the logging roads.

As for Millinocket, Scootic In does a pretty good pizza, but the last time I checked the River Driver's Restaurant still did an awesome burger.

Whatever you do, don't eat the Chinese at the Pamola. Made that mistake before.

We went as far down as we could. The road was a bunch of wet and slipper rocks. We didn't want to air down so we turned back. Next time I want to go further down though! October mountain is so awesome

Nice. Pretty much what you see there is what you get. I won't get any worse than probably where you went in. Think I told you I went through there last year, full air, completely stock.
Glad you guys had a good time. I was screwing around with my truck all day, trying to get those shims in. :(

So the shims were a no go? I saw a couple posts in your thread yesterday but didn't look back to see how it ended up.
