I live in the Dallas area and long beds are fairly rare down here. I ordered mine on 07/28 and it is supposed to be here on 09/01. If I didn't order who knows how long I would have to wait, short of leaving he state.

Had to order mine in November. Arrived Feb 13th. I need the extra bed space and the long bed makes the long hood look more proportionate in my biased opinion.

If you don't mind driving check out the Denver area. There were a few DCLB ORs when I looked yesterday. Multiple dealerships.

Just brought one home today. LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Only driven it 40 miles. Love it so far! It was the last one they had.

Before the dealer I'm using came through I was going to fly out to Arizona or Colorado to get one.

Keep looking and stay patient. Or special order if you can.

I was very fortunate to find my DCLB TRD OR. A local dealership contacted me when one came in as they knew I had been looking for a TRD OR. It just happened to also be a DCLB. Wasn't sure I wanted a DCLB but when I looked at it next to a DCSB it just looked more proportionate and better to my eyes. Plus the extra bed length figured I couldn't go wrong. Have loved it since the day I brought it home. Great truck.

Have to be honest have not seen another TRD OR DCLB gen 3 in the greater Sacramento to area, and haven't seen on on dealer lots around here since. I wish the OP luck in finding one as they do seem to be a bit of a unicorn, and are definitely worth the wait to get one.

I stumbled upon the DCLB. When the 3rd gens first hit the lot they were all sold out. Dealer called me a few hours later because a guy turned down his vehicle because it was a long bed. Now having it for almost a year I'm def glad I got a long bed. Be patient, a lifted long bed looks better and is more practical. image.jpg

Great looking truck with the TRD Pro wheels and a larger tire with a lift!

OP - Just place the order and wait it out, finding one will be tough. Ordered mine 04/23 and it is finally coming in next week, hopefully before Labor Day!

You can spend your time looking for the truck you want or just order the truck you want.

Mine took 8 weeks to arrive but I got exactly what I was looking for, no more endless searching and possibly ending up with a compromise.

Took me 3 months to find my DCLB off road. I was going to order a 17 if I couldn't find a 16 (got mine 3 weeks ago).

I would do a build on the main Toyota website then search for inventory (5-6 dealerships 100 miles of me). Actually found one early June (DCLB OR white) but it had the tech and JBL packages that I didint want to spend the cash on. Then the 2nd week of July the website said "exact match". The only thing mine had that I didn't want was the $659 predator steps and the $256 bed lights. I said yolo and pulled the trigger.

Anyhow, the dealer said the only reason they had this truck is that they had ordered one for a customer and decided to order 2 exactly alike. Said it took 6 months to come in! The sales manager said they don't runt them in production very often and you just have to get lucky on the timing.

Two weeks later the 17's came out so i kinda wish I had waited. I had been told by another dealership that it would probably be October before the 17's where released. Glad I have the truck, just wish it where a 17 for the depreciation.

I own a trd sport DC 6speed manual, truck was on the dealer for rear diff replacement while my truck was in the shop they give me a nice trd offroad double cab long bed but to be honest i will stick to my 6speed manual.
1 turning radio is way big.
    2 more money
3 they dont offer it in manual transmission

    Good
    Good looking truck
    Complete bed
I will said maybe good resale value

But at end only reason why dint bought a long bed was.. i have one year old boy that it needs full seats, so needs to be double cab and needs to be stick shift. But if toyota sell DC LB in manual transmission i buy it.

Spent 12 years with a shortbed, wishing for more room. More than makes up for the turning radius and lack of manual transmission. It's worth holding out for to find.

Agreed, I've had an AC, DCSB and 2 DCLBs, the best config is DCLB hands down.

Dclb is the ugliest configuration out of all of them. Truck looks like a limousine. Might as well get a full size truck

I was torn between DCSB and DCLB but went with the LB. My skis wouldn't even fit in the bed without putting them diagonally. You can almost got more in a minivan compared to the SB.

Depending on the pictures the DCLB can look elongated but in person it looks much better. I don't know why people make a big deal out of it, it's 12" longer than the SB which doesn't really effect the driveability but a lot more usability. To each their own though and different people have different purposes.
