So for the past couple months my 2013 4.0 has had the check engine light intermittently come on but would only be on for about 50 miles or so and would then shut off. I'm running the aFe dry intake which was just cleaned last month. Today I finally got a chance to use my code reader and it's giving me code P0101 which indicates the MAF to be faulty or miscalculating. Anyone else with this setup ever have this problem? Not sure if it's actually my MAF or if something may need adjustment :notsure: Figured I'd ask around here first before investing a couple hundred bucks to replace.

Thanks in advance for any input

Check to see if it is plugged in properly, and make sure your silicone couplings are properly secured.

silicone coupling was wedged in some weird way so i had air bypassing most likely. Light shut off this morning. Hopefully it won't be back now that its properly set lol thanks a lot :oldglory:

Have you guys noticed any performance increase with the intakes?
    Thanks,

my pro dry doesn't have any "noticeable" increase. I think its about 1-2 HP gain. More just cost effective in the long run and easy to clean. You may want to go with a cold air intake for performance :burnrubber:

Thanks. I am thinking of doing a snorkel for the obvious reasons. I am looking for a little performance improvement, especially when I am towing my camper in higher altitudes, but I have to keep the engine stock for the most part. My wife's law!
