    Way to much...but not enough.
    Morning Marie & @HeadStrong Off-Road,

Word around here is that you are the oracle of lifts! I'm looking for some help. :)

I have a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 double cab short bed. I want to keep a mostly stock appearance and just level it out as the front is about 1.5" lower than the rear. If I went with the 5100/885 combo in the front and 5100 in the rear would I need the AAL or would the truck sit mostly level? Would the stock springs be sufficient if I opted out of the OME's? No plans for a bumper or winch. Currently have a skid plate that weighs about 26 lbs up front. Also are there any TW member discounts?

Thank you so much for your time!

She'll chime in, but I'd recommend getting some 884s if you only want to level the front! I also recommend upgrading the coils because it'll ride a lit smoother

My 98 has 4 in.beefed blocks, QA1 up front, turbo. My 15 4x4 stock looking for lift and tires.
Hey Marie Im also looking for a lift I hear your the one to come to.

Looking to lift my 2015 dbl cab LB 4x4 v6 a full 3 inch's looking to gain as much room as possible to fit the biggest tire possible on a 3 inch lift. Not looking to destroy the ride want to keep it soft and comfortable. Also looking for upper control arms so if you could include them in the price it would be very helpful.

Could you please PM me a price sheet as well.

OME 884,s, 5100,s set at 0,1/4" lean spacer,3 leaf aal.gained 2.5" on a 2.7L,5spd,access cab.The ride is much nicer than stock,it is a base model,so the factory shocks were less than ideal. Marie at Headstrong hooked me up, highly recommend.

Hey Marie Just wanted to say thanks, Your package showed up today and everything looks great. Actually the springs are still in the wrapping paper and the shocks are still in the boxes but still excited as hell to get all my goodies.

Again as everyone else says Marie is the bomb. She promises to deliver and she does. Everything showed up as described and from phone call to Marie in Cali. to delivery to the front door in FL. was one week. It would have been sooner but yesterday was a holiday.

Do yall carry body lifts? Thinking I may need one to run 305/70/17's.

    Thanks again Heath B.

Think that's a bit more than what I'm looking for.

I do have a question for you or maybe just anyone who may know. I'm a huge Steeler fan and want to either powder coat or paint or what ever them Steeler gold. So what is the best way to do it.

I know I could paint them and thats cheap but how long will it last and look good?

Then there is powder coating but will baking them in a oven affect the spring rates?

Has anyone ever tried spraying them with a bed liner type material?

So am I over thinking this or what any suggestion's?

    Thanks in advance. Heath

"Ditto" to this, looking at the 5100 Billy kit just not sure where to start, looking to level the stance and get a nicer ride for '15 sport.

A good place to start is to measure your factory stance. I recommend measuring your current rake (from the center of the hub to the bottom of your fender on all 4 corners) to see exactly how much higher you sit in the back as opposed to the front. This way you will know about how high you will need to go in the front to get you near the stance you are shooting for. Measurements should be taken on level ground in order to be as close to accurate as possible. This way you know if you want a certain lift in the back what you would need to do in the front to get the desired stance and vice versa.

The rule of thumb on the uca’s is the closer you get over the 2.5” lift mark toward 3” of lift the more necessary they become in order to get your truck back into alignment. So at 2” you are typically fine not running them, at 2.5” you are on the cusp of whether they are needed or not, and at 3” you pretty much need them.

I've only heard of people powder coating them the spray paint doesn't seem to hold up the same. I haven't heard of anyone using bed liner on them though.

    Your expertise needed/wanted Marie.

I have '12 TRD Sport DCLB Prerunner. My DD and never off road. I want a smooth ride as much as possible and 4/7 day I have 100-160 lbs cargo with 1.5-2 hrs ride high way. I will have my tires change out in a month to 265/70/17 from 265/65/17. Theoretically I have 1/2 in lift there, and I want to raise the front up 2" and back 1.5". My truck current at 2" higher in back. But I like some rake. I've been looking at Fox and King( Icon eliminated after a month of reading). On the Fox, I like level 3 and and may be level 4 with 3 leaf ALL( Dakar too much lift), and you don't have King packages.

I might heading into the wrong direction of lifting. So your professionalism is needed. BTW, truck is to keep for a long time and I'm only 5'4" tall.

Dump question Marie but it is ask to learn(this is a new world to me). After receiving my Kings shocks and coilovers, should I check nitrogen pressure before installations? If so is there a special tool for self doing it?

Thanks again for your great service and can't hardly wait to see the big guns.
