That is awesome. Seems like dark Toyotas love to peel clear coat. I'm sure mine was neglected from the last owner and I didn't help.

My truck was peeling when I bought it and my dark tan Camry started to peel at 12 years old. Both 100% outside cars.

Oh well hopefully the truck will get some fresh paint soon or maybe like a paint / wrap combo.

This is why I've been thinking doing a mix of paint and wrap to help with the trail abuse. After a year I can take off a lot of paint with MT tires. Also I might look into this stuff Aaron had sprayed on his truck.

It's pretty inexpensive. Just seems like you need someone with a good sprayer.

I've heard plasti dip will peel instead of leaving a scratch like regular paint leaving horrible looking strips down the side:notsure:

Hahaha it's a working process, little by little take your time and enjoy.
same here, despite with my strong coffee. I think coffee doesn't work for me anymore, tolerance building up.

damn:ohsnap: that means you can't cuddle with your truck anymore, it will be rough. Wonder how many lbs add weight when you lineX the whole truck.:notsure:

For now I kinda pay attention of the weight coz my truck is my daily drive. Also take it long drive. Planning to take it to North Dakota, Wyoming.

Spray is where it is at. Lots of prep but worth it. Easier to find someone who can spray it for cheap.

Btw that spray bedliner has gnarly overspray. I sprayed my bumper outside, with our metal screen door shut and later found remaining black "dust" all over the kitchen counters. That shit floats far....

I sprayed my bedsides. I kinda messed up. I got a good chunk of overspray. I used the duplicolor stuff, but a lot of reviews said that stuff sucks. Urethane paints lay down a lot better. Been doing research. I might try it again next spring.
