I have a 2013 Tacoma and I'm looking to lift it a little. Got quoted from a shop $678 for bilsteins 5100 front and rear, installed and alignment. Any thoughts?? Good deal ? I don't have time to do it myself.

So just shocks in the back and no lift? That's seems pretty high Brother.

I know the front shocks are adjustable. Are the rear ones too ? Or do I need something to be able to lift the back.

Rear are not depending on what you set the fronts at you will either be level or nose high. And AAL in the rear will cure that

I assume you'll be setting them at .85" or 1.75". Keep in mind that if you set them at 2.5" you may need new UCAs to keep the alignment within spec.

1.75 sounds good if the rear is level with that. I already have a set of 285-60-18 on there and the nose is just a tad low.

The shocks are $370 by themselves.. To get the coil pressed off and back on is $40 ish then it'll take a few hours to put all shocks on...

So it would be $268 for about 3 hours of work...

Not that hard of a job if you have a shop switch the coils out for you but if you don't have the time then id say save the hassle an have the shop do everything ..

    cheers

Sometimes depending on the truck .85 will be level or 1.75 will be level.

I'd say it sounds like a good deal.

Hell I was charged $300 in labor alone just to put coil springs on my front end....

FWIW best deal I could find on installation of my lift (front shocks, coils and rear shocks + 3 leaf AALs) was $350.
