I have a 2014 magnetic grey Tacoma and have thought about black Plastidipping my badges. I have seen that Plastidip makes a gunmetal grey. Have any of you used it to see what they'd look like together?

Why not exploit the main benefit of Pastidippage, which is being able to yank it right off iff'n you don't like the looks of it afterward and only be out $15? I think it'll look good, by the way.

I would guess he PDd it. Either way, that's what it'll look like if you PD yours. I did all my badges, along with the grille and the rear bumper. Girlfriend made fun of me at the time, but 5 months later, the shit still looks good and she admits that she was wrong. I had to touch up the grille after a few pebbles chipped the PD off, but that's it. I've taken it through automatic washes as well as high-pressure handwashes; it handles it fine. I say go for it and see how ya like it, man.
