Always loved watching lauzon fight. His sub game is slick and he always puts on a show. Love watching his backyard brawls with his brother Dan. Fucking dude is crazy. That said, I love Jim Miller too. Their styles are very similar IMO and equally dangerous everywhere. Hopefully its FOTN and goes to decision for a draw. lol

Dude, J Lau got robbed IMO. Love that Vanzant switch roundhouse for the tko. Loved seeing my boy Pettis control the positions, give up his back to advance and sub a BJJ world champion. Fucking amazing. Then mother fucking Damien Maia just showed that he is the greatest fucking bjj to mma grappler that ever signed with the ufc. Some people don't like seeing a grappler slice through every opponent with an inevitable rear naked choke or sub, but isn't that still exciting? Is it objectively not more exciting than a knock-out artist? I don't believe so, but maybe that's the Buffalo Trace talking. What do you guys think?

I agree with your last statement! Condit has and will always be one of my favorite fighter and Maia finished him quick.

I'm glad Showtime got the win as well. Hope 145# is good for him as I enjoy watching him fight.

I'm happy for 12 Gauge as well. She's one of my favorite female fighters. She's from Oregon, so I gotta root for her, and always has a smile on her face, even during weigh in stare downs lol so it shows she loves qhat she does. I hope she continues to grow in the sport of mma.

And I missed the first fight when I got to BWW Miller was being interviewed. I thought there was one fight between them, guess I was wrong.

 

Yeah, miller vs lauzon was actually a good fight, BUT Miller lost that fight. Lauzon controlled the octagon and landed the better shots. Not to mention the takedowns and top control. Still, its good for both fighters and hopefully it sets up a trilogy. I do like Miller a lot, but I had him losing on my parlay which the judges fucked me on. Oh well, it was a great card and Maia still won me about 270 bones. Can't complain I guess.

 

Finally got around to watching the main card, last night.

J-Lau got ROBBED, period. PVZ with the sick KO. Pettis looked good. Maia = FUCKING MONSTER.

 

Agreed on the Lauzon robbery; he took Miller to the mat several times.

PVZ most def had knockout of the night. Who saw that coming? lol

Maia... what else can you say? I am a Condit fan, but Maia just manhandled him. It's like Condit gave up the minute got taken down.
