But when you use that bacon griddle to cook some up, you may rest your foot up there and burn it and get a protuberance...

I use it all the time with my Galaxy S7 and an Incipio case. Leave YouTube running podcasts down there and it does charge, albeit slowly. Charges pretty decent when the screen is off.

I also have a 42 watt Anker Quick Charge 3.0 plugged into the lighter socket in the center console for when I need more juice during a quicker drive.

I have a spigen tough armor qi case for my iPhone 6. It does get the phone hot if it's on the charger for an hour or so but I use it daily in the truck. The nice thing is it has a removable lightning plug so you can charge with an apple lightning cable.

I have a Samsung S6 active too. The charger has always worked well but the connection to the charger was never very solid. Since the last android o/s update it connects up and stays connected and does a good job chatging.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 active. I virtually never have to plug anything into the phone ever. i use the wireless charger in the truck and in my home and Bluetooth headphones. I'm surprised how well the charger works in the truck I can literally throw that phone in there and it will charge and charge fast.

I didn't even know my 'droid turbo' had this feature, until I got this truck. But it's been pretty handy. Doesn't charge very fast, but it maintains my battery when I'm playing music on a long trip
