Broke a piece off window seal - covered by warranty right?

    I would probably not want to leave that exposed to rain and wind... water getting into the door panel and what not.

    thank god.
    on that note, maybe some sort of glue. Highly doubt the dealer will warranty it, at least not if you say you broke it washing

    That's because they couldn't prove that you caused it to happen. If you walk into a dealer and say I broke this you need to warranty the repair they will typically laugh you out the door. If you walk in and say this piece is coming apart, not sure why.....then you have a chance. It's not lies, it's all in the approach.

    Nah the tech was also into car audio and we had a lengthy conversation about sundown audio and sound deadener.

    The best adheasive for that woul be the polyureathane adheasive used for gluing in windshields.

    I've had this same piece broken on my 2008 for the last 5 years. Hate it.

    But it really isn't that big of a deal.
