    Recap of a few things...

AU named Sean White as their opening day starting QB. So that pretty much sums up that Jeremy Johnson doesn't seem to be making his drastic comeback this year. Does leave the question where that leaves JF3. Rumor has it his athleticism alone will let him see the field in some way, shape, or form. Also, with AU only returning 2 WR with experience it sounds like they will have 3 true freshman seeing a lot of playing time.

UGA/doctors have officially released Nick Chubb for opening day. Does Smart go with him and risk the nervousness of injury again or go with a younger choice with little to no experience to open up against a decently talented Gene Chizik coached defense. Also, UGA is in the same boat as a lot of SEC schools with not having a true starter at the QB position. Do they go with true fresh Eason, or go with a little bit of experience with Lambert.

UF has named old Bama qb Luke Del Rio as their opening day starter. Bama fans (like me) may pay attention to UF's opener to see exactly what walked away from them. With the situation Bama has been in over they past few years I'll be the first to admit that it hurts just a little bit to see some of our old QBs looking great and doing well. Happy for the players themselves, unhappy they are doing it elsewhere, haha!

Last but never least, BAMA! Just read a story from ESPN that Saban just said that Cooper Bateman AND Blake Barnett could see playing time Saturday against USCw. So apparently a lot of the talk about Jalen Hurts was more opinionated rather than factual. Who knows though, only time will tell. Another small story is that Damian Harris looks "likely" to be opening day starter but Bo Scarbrough will see plenty of PT.

Those are the most significant storylines that have come out somewhat recently. Can't wait til Saturday! ROLL TIDE ROLL boys!

Meh, rumors...he said she said. I just wait till Saturday to see what happens. I know it's always an interesting time when Les Miles and LSU are like the only team with their confirmed starters at every position hahaha. Anybody take the time to watch Cal/Hawaii? Decent game, I was just excited to watch some college football is why I watched it. Plus I do college fantasy so I pay attention to pretty much every single game just for players whether I care about the game or not lol. Geaux Tigers.

ouch, got me. such a good one. surprised you didn't throw in "LSwho?" because that one's so good too lol.

To enlighten the uncultured swines who cheer for other teams:
"Geaux Tigers" is the cheer for the LSU athletic clubs, particularly the football team. While the pronunciation remains the same, the spelling of "geaux" instead of "go," is a reference to the heavy French and Cajun influence on southern Louisiana.

I'm still confused by Auburn. Tigers, war eagle, or plainsmen???? What is it? What are you? And war eagle as a war chant is f'n lame, and not a valid argument.

image.jpg But how do they really think we take 1 road loss in Baton Rouge, follow up with a conference win against good competition (I'm speaking comparatively) then go way out on the road to get a win against the usually pretty good BYU, but shit the bed and lose the next week to Kentucky.......... In football......:annoyed::anonymous::crapstorm::facepalm::frusty::goingcrazy:

I'm unaware of that one. I'm guessing that's an overdose of PC, being a bobble head version of a Confederate general would "be to dramatic and offensive" for too many. Just guessing.

I don't know why UK is picked to beat MSU every year. We haven't beat them since Rich Brooks was roaming the sidelines. But they also picked us to lose to Vandy but beat Georgia. Go figure.

It's 100% PC. Well as to my understanding the first thing to go was the battle flag, then from Dixie with love, then Col Reb (who in real life was a black man. True story). They had a vote campus wide and admiral ackbar from Star Wars won but Lucas issued a cease and desist or something to that affect. Long story shor the runner up was not a black bear but the administration chose it anyway. The Land Shark specifically is what they fancy to call their defense. Recently they decided strip away one of the other school traditions. One of the game day band songs I believe. That school is a hot ass mess right now and they deserve the NCAA death penalty for fighting to win a championship but not fighting back against the administration to keep their traditions alive. I really don't like ole miss but I can't stand to see them let the school destroy its tradition from the inside.
