So I went ahead and bought a 09 Toyota Tacoma all stock about 8-10 months ago and since then went ahead and did some changes to it, one of which was the blistien adjustable shock adjusted at the highest point 2.25
Right after that I bought wheels and tires, went up one size on the tires 265/70-17 and I have a very slight uca rub and I'm wondering if this is something to be concerned about. I have noticed a lot of other tacos with the same amount of rub and if this is a concerning issue what do you suggest I do to fix it ?

If its just while turning you probably wont have any issues. Could always run a little spacer like most do.

So I had that issue. It was only hitting a bump while turning. I was running 265/70r17 on stock suspension with aftermarket wheels. I didn't bother getting an alignment after going up only an inch. I then lifted it and got an alignment (same wheels and tires) and all was good, rubbing stopped.

    Have you gotten an alignment?

Yes I got a alinement, but I am thinking about getting another alinement now that the suspension is all settled

It only hits (atleast that I am aware of) when I have it turned all the way right or left

do yourself a favor..... get some lightracing UCA's or really any aftermarket UCA. with a lift that tall your caster is probably way low which makes driving a chore.

This will also solve your uca rubbing issue

Alright thank you for the advice guys that's why I ask because I am new to owning a Tacoma... Really enjoy the little truck compared to my big truck it is awesome for hunting and 4x4 use, I do however when I disengage the 4x4 hear a louder clunk that I am assuming is it disengauging but I'm not sure if it's louder then it should be or not... Have nothing else to compare to

Agree with this. Aftermarket UCA's will help reduce rubbing and allow better alignments with a lifted truck.

Aftermarket wheels with a larger offset (wheel sticks out further past wheel well) would help a little too.

The clunk when engaging or disengaging 4x4 can be highly dependent on the speed you're traveling, whether it's constant, accelerating, or decelerating. Generally the smoother your speed (more consistent, slower) the less likely it'll go clunk.

I rub with mine too. I have aftermarket as well. More offset will fix that.

The rubbing pictured is not an issue. The caster from being lifted that high on stock UCAs could be.

Do those All Poo UCAs adjust caster for lift? The LR UCAs are awesome.

I'm not too sure about them actually! Never did any research on them.

If the rubbing isn't a issue what will the caster cause or do ?

Low caster angle causes road wander and bump steer while driving.
