    yah, write to Chevron corporate... the amount of force applied to the hose while pulling it up to the car is nowhere near the amount necessary to pull apart... that is bogus...

    Don't pay it. Unless they have video of you misusing it, that thing shouldn't separate under normal use. 350 lbs is a lot of force.

    Sounds like it's the gas stations problem. You were stand up enough to tell them about their faulty equipment. He should have said thanks I'll get a tech here asap to fix the problem have a nice day. I'd report him to his companies customer support or whatever
