I got the URD 02 sims, first day of driving=NO CHECK ENG. 2nd Day , Engine light came on. I drove all day then reset it by removing Neg batt. Hasn't come back since, I think the ECU was learning it. YES o2 sensors reached, the drivers side I took the plug off the mount to get the needed slack, passenger side was all good. They sound AWESOME, no rasp with stock Y PIPE, Stock mid pipe and flowmaster muffler.

Long tubes actually fit to the stock ypipe?! Didn't know that one. Why not swith to high flow cats?

Why go shortys over longtubes? I thought longtubes performed better (so i've heard)

Long tubes eliminate the cats, all that's left are the resonators. Those can be deleted pretty easily.

Well SOLD TODAY..... srry guys. And yes long tubes mount up directly to stock Y pipe. On my 2005 i was amazed how easy it was. Literally 30 minutes in both headers were off :bananadance:.
Didnt disconnect or loosen ANYTHING other than O2 sensors. Job took 2.5 hours with simulator too.. AND THEN.......

LOW END TORQUE SAID GOODBYE.... instantly noticed it, passimg on highway with supercharger and stock manifolds the truck would downshift and jump.... With long tubes it would just downshift and run the gear out slowly. So i bought shortys

20160825_213847.jpg Stock manifolds have 2 of the 4 cats we have on tacomas.
Long tubes eliminates 2, leaving the other 2 that are connected to the Y pipe. Quick swap off and swap on.

Yes, cats are attached to the manifolds, and resonators are attached to the y pipe.
