I might mount one of those to my bed rack for when I go shooting. It looks like it would hold two rifles, as long as neither of them are pistol grip.

    It's water tight, right?

Sure is! And it should hold them just fine.

Hi. A few questions before I order the Tacoma Bed Cross bar set ...

    1. Is the set of cross bar comes with mounting kit?
    2. What's bolt size/length need to mount the Smittybilt 40204 rack?

    Thanks

The bars do come with hardware.

I'd have to see the smittybuilt rack to answer your question of hardware, but I'm sure a quick run to the hardware store will find you what you need.

All you would need is some 1/4"-20 carriage bolts.

Hi I have the Toyota cargo divider. Would your cross bars be about the same height? Top of divider to top of cross bar level.

The bars sit right on top of your cleats.

Anyone try to put a RTT on them yet? Looking for a solution to mount a RTT. Currently have a Softopper. Wondering if some of the smaller RTT would fit on this rack while my softopper is up

    It never efffing ends.....
I haven't put an RTT on mine, but I have the heavy duty Voodoo cross bars and I think they are strong enough for a car to sit on them. However, they sit on the top rails of the truck, as opposed to the cleats. Personally, I wouldn't trust the cleats to hold a RTT, especially with a person or two in it. That's just my personal opinion though.

These are the cross bars I am running: http://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/heavy-duty-bed-brackets-pair-fits-years-2005-2015
