so the ambers... Would those be for gently lighting up a campsite or trail without pissing everyone off?

The amber is not as hard on the eyes as the white LEDs. They are technically the same brightness though as they are both 18W.

On your website it states "requires a very small modification". What is the very small modification?

You need to drill one 3/8" hole in the bumper. The hole is drilled behind the factory fog light cover so if you went back to stock it would be hidden.

Absolutely, these are a very easy product to install. Had a customer do it with one arm in a cast recently.

So I bought the 18w with pigtails and I hooked them up to the stock fog harness and they aren't working any suggestions?

depending on when you got them we had some pigtails that had the wire colors flip flopped. So if you hooked red to red and black to black it is in the wrong spot. There are two options. You can flip flop the wires, red to black. Or you can de-pin them at the connector and then flip the connector over. If you need help with either of these methods please shoot me a PM or email and I will give you further direction.

Very sorry for the inconvenience. I have fixed these in all new orders so people don't need to worry about this in the future!

Also in other news more related to this thread, new pods are coming in the next 3 weeks. I have been working with @CaliRaisedLed and they are making some awesome new pods for me. Same 18W Amber or White LEDs as before, same Cali Raised quality and output, but now I will have a lot more in stock and they will have the super sweet Apex logo on them. I know it's something little and the same for you guys, but I am excited none the less. Here is a sample of the laser etching we finalized yesterday on a scrap part.

I personally love the ambers. They are being and provide good non reflective light in bad weather. The white ones are better if your trying to add additional light to your existing headlights for other uses like off-road.
