Haha, I put my other radio back in the OGT a few weeks ago. No more fancy roger beep, but this radio just seemed to have clearer reception.

 

have you guys been there some what recently? i was there around april and they were flattening everything. some of the sand hills were gone. most of the good spots were flat then. i forgot the trail number its the 2nd video on the first posts preview picture. they had metal posts up blocking all the hills for crawling. so idk if it has changed but last time if was there it wasnt looking very good.

 

Worst case, we just do some trail riding. Hopefully the rain will undo some of their "flattening" vandalism though.

QFT! Still, Angelo was talking about back in April. It's been a while since then so hopefully whatever "repairs" were made will have been washed out again. I wouldn't be surprised to fine they fixed the big washout on trail 14 though. Frankly, I'm amazed they let it get as deep as it was. I'd imagine it will be back eventually though.

 

That washout was repaired as of July. Trail 16 however has some fun spots now.

 

Thanks for the intel. How about trail 19? Have they futzed with that one?

Haha, that's cool. I guess there needs to be some surprises.

Last year at the annual meet, I had intended to do a trail by trail expedition with my group on Saturday before we got shut down by a breakdown. From the sound of it, this will be what I'll be doing Friday and Saturday. Hopefully we'll find some interesting areas the bastiches haven't torn up yet.

 

Back in May we ran trail 7 from Trail 9 all the way to trail 10 and it was pretty cool climbing out on to 10. There's a pretty tight ravine with a nice climb out of it. It comes out right in front of the FWC trailer.

Actually, that's the one Brian was saying they did flatten out when he went through there in July.

So, Angelo, are you planning on being our token domestic out there in October?

There was a toyota pickup on craigslist that i liked. Turbo diesel. 5 speed. 4x4 and extended cab. But it sold.

 

Haha, I love it. I bet a whole bunch of "repairs" to the Citrus trails are going to be nicely undone in the next couple of days.

 

its just a handheld midland with 4' fire stick. im not to worried about getting the greatest, i know this will only do me so good. more or less just want to see if there isnt something significant that im missing that would make it better. im really ignorant to how all this CB stuff physically works.
