Well I hate to do it but I'm out of the group buy. I'm going to attempt to make my own, but if I fail before the buy is over I'll join back in.

    This is the wind screen,
It slides into the built in metal frame on the skottle

Can someone share this on t4r please? I don't have an account or I'd be on it.

@ramonortiz55 i know you're busy with a handful (at least) of gb's but are you able to help this along on t4r?
Looks like we need at least 6 still.

Alright guys and gals, the first night cooking with the skottle was a success! I can't believe how fast this sucker heats up! Me and my girlfriend did a very basic stir fry as a trial run. It turned out awesome I'd say, and I think we'll do this same dish camping next week but I think we'll add chicken in the mix.

First I dumped small puddle of veggie oil in the middle and spread it around, we then threw the frozen stir fry mix.

Added a little salt and pepper, and soy sauce.

    Then came the rice

    And the final product!!

It was well enjoyed, the skottle is a blast to cook with, and I'm very happy with the product to say the least. I just need to figure out a carrying bag.

I've used mine a hell of a lot over last six months. The thing is amazing. This last weekend at camp we popped popcorn in it. I was speaking to the owner of Tembo Tusk and he said they recently smoked ribs in it. I've definitely lightened my load in the truck by buying this. If you get the deluxe kit and the carry bags it does fit two one pound bottles in with the Skottle and burner. The bags are made by Blue Ridge Overland and worth every penny.
If things stick to the cooking surface just pour a cup,of water to it and let it start to boil, use a plastic or wood utensil and scrape it up then wipe with a paper towel. Boom it's clean again. Re-Oil treat just like cast iron cookware. Amazing! Buy with confidence.
