Exciting times around here again. Two hurricanes on the way. Guess fishing & golf are out this weekend.

Thanks man. We've been lucky so far this year with several near misses. I'm most concerned about my niece's wedding planned for this Sat at an outdoor location.
Got my water jugs and a cooler full of water, plenty of batteries, and hopefully enough food for a week.

 evening boys.... took a nice walk with the girls. Actually was just a tad too warm, but MUCH better than it has been, so no complaints.

    Morning all:
Here's a pic. of an interesting critter a buddy of mine sent to me. It's a piebald deer, and although not as rare as a pure albino they are not all that common, some claim it brings bad luck to shoot one! A buddy of mine that just lives up the street from me has a pic of a bear with a white cub on his trail cam, but on recent pics. that cub isn't with the others, hopefully it wasn't poached already. :(

Good morning, all!! We seem to have a larger deer population than normal roaming our property. Turkey, too. Should be a good year for the hunters.

Well the first storm, Madeline looks like it's going to miss us. Lester, the second one, who knows? Looks like we're in for some heavy rain at the least.

Obama arrived yesterday afternoon, and they completely closed the freeway for almost an hour. I wish he'd take a helicopter when he moves around, but I've heard that he doesn't like them.

    Roger that Don.
Glad you have 1 down and maybe Lester will miss you as well. Potus will be in Philadelphia this month for Billary's campaign. Traffics bad enough without him cling to town and screwing it up even more. Good luck with Lester.

I'm well prepared for the storm, so it will probably not hit us...

Another thing about the POTUS. He always rents a luxury home whenever he's here. What's wrong with staying on base, like all the presidents before him?

Oh, yeah, forgot he's a pussy.

Hope you dodge this one as well Cheech. I wonder if Obama will buy a house in South Chicago when he is out of office? NOT. Probably get one next to Trump in Florida:facepalm::).

    On a brighter note.
Wishing everyone a great Labor Day Weekend and a safe one as well. Enjoy:thumbsup:

Had a yard sale today, mostly my late moms stuff. Sold over $100 the first hour, about 40 degrees outside then. Did over $300 for the day, had added in a bunch of my stuff, had to run to the bank when I shut down at noon to get rid of some $$$. Hope y'all have a nice Labor Day, I'll be on the road a few days after I finish the yard sale on Saturday, headed to ID, MT, then thru ND to get to MN to see relatives. See y'all in about three weeks.

I need that problem. Heck, we all need that problem.

We hauled 2+ cords of wood to the house yesterday in the Taco. 5 trips worth, tightly packed and piled high as we dared. I shattered one of the rear windows with an errant toss! :facepalm:I think I'll look for one of those bed dividers, I've seen them turned upside-down to protect the window.

Happy Labor Day folks! Looks like Hermine is only going to bring a little rain here. Which reminds me, I'd better stop surfing and start mowing.
