I did 5100s with 885s and spacers. In back I did Dakars and B110s

I did the 887's Marie at Head Strong said they were a little longer (1/2") and I wanted the full 3 inch lift. Should find out in a few weeks.

I went with 1.5 blocks out back. All the research I've done says that AALs really stiffens the ride and that is what I want to avoid at all cost.

Besides if I don't like the stance then all I have to do is swap out to different blocks and its easy to do so I can get the look I like.

Blocks tend to increase axle wrap - take it easy on that skinny pedal!

 

My boosted 98 tacoma makes 297 rwhp with 4 inch blocks and i've never had any problems there.

Isn't axle wrap a cause of busted U Joints?

I've herd the term axle wrap and know its the twisting motion of the rear end? Doesn't it cause busted U Joints?

 

It causes excess wear on u joints, but they can wear and break without excessive axle wrap.

 

Ok cool thanks for clearing that up. I guess the good thing is I just swapped that U joint out for a Spicer U Joint because even though the U Joint never failed me my rear end did. That bitch grenaded one day doing a burn out. So I had to do the ford 8.8 swap and needed a U Joint to go from toyota drive line to a ford yoke on the 8.8 rear end.


This was before I snapped the rear end.
