    Is this a legit website?
If by some magical sense it is, would the 2.5" coilovers be a direct fit for first gens?

Can you tell I know nothing about coilovers yet?

If that's a legit company, that's a good deal with free shipping. There are affiliates with filthy motorsports per there site. Never heard of them though.

Dang!Thats what you'd buy them for used! (If I'm looking at the right price $780? I'd pick a pair just to save the $200. I'd want to confirm its legit first. Maybe call Kings and have them confirm they're a legitimate vendor?

What kind of use do you usually use your truck for? King's are pretty aggressive off road shocks, and I think you have to constantly refill the oil, and nitrogen on them. I've bot the Rancho 2.5" quick lift struts on the front of my 01 tacoma, with Rancho 9000xl's in the back to level it (because I don't like the pre runner look). I love them! I mostly use my truck for some backcountry driving like going camping off grid. I occasionally use it for harsher conditions though like some crawling, etc. These shocks perform great!

Yep. They did say they would match any price you find that is more than their price for the full CO though.

I'd like to get real coilovers, King specifically, because I would love the small amount of extra travel it gives without going LT. I find myself bottoming out and over extending way too much with the Bilsteins I have on now. Plus it's time to replace all my suspension anyways.

Could be a good way to go about it for free shipping. But I'm pretty sure most vendors offer that as well.

Yea the Rancho quick lift's is a complete strut assembly: strut, mono-tube absorber, and coilover I believe. They gave me a full 2" of lift all around without having to spend like 5 grand on the suspension. I had a mechanic that I know put them on/ order them for me and it cost me under a grand to do. If you do more serious stuff then yea go with King, or Icon, but they are more upkeep, and if you use your truck as a daily driver you'll hate them. The other thing with the ranchos is they have an adjustable dampening system, and even offer a remote control so you can set different terrain settings and change up the stiffness at the push of a button. I went off the recommendation of my mechanic who has been racing trucks for like 20 years, and his opinion is if you don't use the truck for going like 60mph on dirt you don't need King, or Fox, or Icon. Granted they look awesome, but for my use the Rancho's were the way to go and I'm not disappointed

Glad you are happy with your purchase. On another note you have been given some mis-information on kings, icon, fox, etc. That is not the way they work. Yes they can be valved for just going 70 mph through the desert. But they are custom built for whatever your use is...street, rock crawling, pre-running, a mixture etc. They are also adjustable in ride height from 0-3" with the turn of a wrench. And there cost is around a grand for front coil overs not "5 grand" plenty of happy users here that run high quality suspension coilovers that use them as a dd with superb performance. you get what you pay for. Should everyone out there be buying kings and icons? Of course not, budget lifts like Rancho's and pro comps will work but there are is also a middle of the road option (OME or bilstien)
