i was on a photoshoot tonight on Castle in La Cañada and saw/heard a blue 2nd gen access cab cruising up... lift, wheels and tires, and some decals on back window...

 

6:35am today on Verdugo Road near Glendale College... Blacked out and lifted 2nd gen high beamed me and i waved back... whose truck?

 

Tonight at La Cañada Ralphs

 

Ive seen that truck around CV. Never waves back.

 

I saw him cruise up foothill from the direction of Ralph's. I was at Georgee's

 

I was going to wave but i bumped into my neighbor and we were busy chatting... I looked in their direction but don't know if he saw me or not...

 

we should have had a meet up... i met up with @lotuscupcar up at Rite Aid parking lot prior to going grocery...

Had an odd experience the other day down in Echo Park. Saw a Tacoma- lift, wheels, tires, mesh grill, depo lights front and back- the works. Pull ups next to me at a light. I roll my window down and give him a thumbs up. He rolls his down and gives me his shit face: "What do you want?"
I say, "nice truck!"
He says, "Oh. Yeah." And then looks at my truck up and down.
WTF? That's what I get for going out of my way.

 

that's why i typically don't bother anymore... i once had a WTF moment like that with a truck...

ironically, at a race a couple months later, that same truck was broke down out in the middle of Barstow... i kept driving by... karma told me to keep going...

 

Based on time, location and blacked out lifted 2nd gen, that mightve been me
