    hey all

So I got a pair of retro fits in a trade and manage to buy a harness for them. Problem is I don't know how to hook it up.

Here's everything I got from the harness:

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Here's the back of the headlights too:

    image.jpg

And I am not sure what this plug is for either but it's goes into the headlights:

    Any help is really appreciated!

Do I have everything I need to hook up the high beams then? I bought the adapter since it's the same plugs as the harness I have now.

I am not sure what the first set of adapter are. Do they plug into the factor harness but then what does this plug into to?

Not sure what those first set are either. My setup uses the harness like the pic with your toes in it. Plugs into the driver's side headlight harness, the fused lead goes to the battery, the two connectors plug into the blue box's harness, the two remaining ring terminals are grounds. The two ends that I can't tell if they have connectors, should be the leads to power the highbeam solenoid. It should be like how he has it wired in this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ontrol-bi-xenon-harness-install-guide.366208/

Ah you rock! When it comes to headlights I am a newb. For the high beam solenoids is there a seperate piece to plug into the d2s projectors plug?

No, the D2S plug is only for the bulb. The wire coming out of the headlight currently just lowers a shield for the high beams.

So is there a separate plug I need for that or is it not needed if I still want high beams?

Not sure, but I think the circled wire should be the lead for the high beams. Is there a connector on it? I can't tell from the pic. Is there another end like this on the other side of the harness for the passenger side?

Yes sir but I'm missing the connection, no pun intended, between the wire coming out of the projectors and the wires on the harness

Ok the adapters came in and I have lights! Only thing is I don't have high beams at the moment and not sure how to hook them up. I wonder if I can get a spliter with two males and a female to go from the connector and harness to the ballast.

So the spliters came in for the high beams but the issue I am facing now is that when I plug them in the high beams stay on constantly and dont turn off. I tried switching the splitter around thinking that might be it but they still stay on.

    Anyone got ideas?

What does the high beam splitter look like? It should only have power when the stock headlight connector has power on the high beam wire. The three wires on the stock headlight harness are High, Low, and Ground.

It was the ones from here:

    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...m-splitters.html?preselect=48188#.V89W5zQ8KJI

Male is connected to the plug coming out of the headlights, one male to the ballast and one female to the harness

Realized I'm an idiot and didn't buy ones for the molec connector on the harness and have them plugged directly into the low beams which is why they're on
