thinkin selling the black wheels and i'll find a set of aluminum toyota wheels a little later and put the stmaxx 255's or another brand if can find a lighter tire but seeing what the steelies weigh with the heavy assed tires on them im thinking if i find some lighter wheels they shouldn't weigh much more than what i have

Those would look sweet on my black, street princess. They will look good on your silver truck also!

Had my truck for 10 months and she still has not seen a gravel road. 2856 miles...

Question about the afe you are talking about... It a full air intake kit or only the filter? Because I put an AFE pro dry in my truck but only it is only a washable filter and I didn't notice any difference... Got to say that I also put little heavier tire and a cap so maybe I came back even on performance...

yes sir it's only the drop in filter. i was going to purchase a full cai but after doing a good bit of research on here and other places discovered the stock air systm is truly a cold air intake getting air fed through the wheel well. if you buy a aftermarket cold air intake it ctually draws it's air from the engine compartment which is warmed from the temps created by the engine. also the stock intake system will considerably cut back on the amount of dust the filter encounters. yes gains are minimal i installed mine after putting 285 tres on th truck and saw a slight return in fuel mileage but the throttle response did feel better from what i'm to understand i'll see more benefit with the installation of the lce header hope this helps i'm in noway any kind of expert

Yes it does help! I knew the oem air filter was already very good on our trucks but not that it was some kind of "cai". I will go to bed smarter tonight!

I am thinking about lce headers myself but I don't want to pull the trigger now because my truck is my DD and I don't have a "plan B" vehicule. If I go with headers I will want to do the installation myself and I want to have plenty of time to do it because things never go 100% easy when I do it. I always find a seized bolt or worst, I break it... Or I don't have the right too and then the truck is in pieces and I can't go buy it lol

Next year I expect to have a vehicule from the place I work for. If I do, my taco will get some well deserve love!

first i also removed the secondary or charcoal filter which freed it up little more and costs nothing to do. secondly i'm rt there with you about nothing ever going rt but watch the lce install video on youtube and you'll be suprised it's a direct bolt in with only perhps some very minor modification to the air pump watch the video. i'm in no way any kinda expert here so research all this yourself also

I already did all the research about the headers lol very good step by step but I know I will find something wrong haha I also removed the secondary air filter. Next step is to buy the headers lol

I NEED A HUGE FAVOR OF SOMEONE WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANS. Can someone please look at their truck. Passenger side in the wheel well where the header pipe and downpipe with the cat meet... Just behind that is the trans and there is either going to be a threaded bolt hole or a bolt there. Don't touch it obviously I just need to know what you guys have there. Mine is just a threaded hole...

Reason being is that my rear main seal is leaking.

Here is a pic of what I need you to see on your truck.
