I have a dremel, drill, and since I'm lazy and don't want to read what size hole saw do you need?

 

I believe it's 105mm/4 1/8inch hole saw.

 

I'll have to look. I got everything else. Just text me when you plan on doing it. I get a 4 day weekend so I'm putting a lift on dads truck also.

 

I believe I will have Monday off. Busy Friday and Saturday so it would either be Sunday afternoon, or Monday.

 

My largest is a 2 1/2", sorry.

Have you looked into a new one, since it's going to cut into the side of your truck?

 

I have, can swing by lowe's and get one easily.

 

I do have a wide range of drills and a couple of Dremel tools you can borrow, if needed.

 

Sounds like I'm fairly covered. I have plenty of bits and a good drill. Hole saw and dremel is all I was missing.

 

I have both the corded (professional model) and cordless lithium dremel, you're welcome to borrow both

You don't need a very strong drill, let the rpms build up and give it light pressure.

 

For a nice clean hole with just deburring this is what you need...

Why dont u just buy a good plasma cutter. U no ur gonna need it down the road anyway.

You would think that cutting a hole in your truck is rocket science but it's not. Cut the damn hole already. Clean it up with a flapper wheel on the dremel and paint the edges with primer and paint it then pipe it in. And done! The hardest part is getting everything lined up then holding the drill to your truck. I stood there for 2-3 min trying to get my buddy to do it. I didn't want to put a big ass hole in the side of a $30k truck lol. Then once I started it it was maybe 20 min and I was done taking pictures and drinking a beer

 

I see a CNC Milling machine in your future. You can't take the risk of being .0001" off, when cutting into the side of your Tacoma!
