New TW member, first post, so bear with me.

I stop at the bottom of my driveway daily to check my mail. Driveway is about 20-25 degree incline. When I release the brake pedal to climb the drive, I hear a fairly loud ratcheting sound until forward motion starts. I thought at first this was some sort of hill-holder device, but now I'm not so sure. At the 5K check-up, I plan to have the dealer perform the T-SB-077-16 and do a proper ATF level check. Anyone have similar issues? Thanks in advance.

I have this same thing. Less of a hill-holder. More of a roll-back limiter. Surprised the crap out of me the first time it did it.

Haha- It thought I imagined it last night in the same exact situation. First 4x4 Tacoma I've ever had and I know it has a crap load of features so what exactly is this one called?

Thanks, guys. I will sleep better now without nightmares of smokin' hot ATF and gear bits floating around in my tranny. Much appreciated.
