I have a 2014 xrunner and my oil pressure light came on but is not solid. It will turn off then go back on. During that time it will also flicker from bright to dim. I changed my oil pressure sensor and it still does it. But now there is a good amount of oil leaking from the sensor. I really do not want to take it to the dealer because I did put some bolt on parts to the engine. I also do not want to get it towed there. I checked oil pressure but the kit that I borrowed did not have the right fitting so that didn't help. I also changed my oil filter because I thought that was clogged but nothing. My oil level is okay and I only use Amsoil 5w-30. Any info/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How many miles on the spark plugs? How many miles on the truck?

I'd get rid of them or at least make sure they are all nice and tight. Truck starts and runs well? I think the leaking sensor may need sealant on the threads but I could be wrong.

Truck starts up good and no knocking sounds from the engine. Just the usual Toyota tick. But that's what I was thinking to. Is there any sealant you would recommend?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Bolt on engine parts? Remove and post back after test drive(s).

I have a URD TCAI with the MAF cal and I have the DTLTs with the URD Ypipe. I already know if I take it to the dealer they're just gonna blame it on those parts.

None of those could be reasonably blamed on an oil leak/low pressure... You sure it isn't a short?

Sounds cheesy as fuck but I've never heard of an oil warning light dimming.

Yes it does dim. Lol I'm gonna try to put some sealant on the threads to see if that helps. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I would suggest looking carefully. If it is leaking anywhere except at the threads, replace it. I have had more than one over the years where the top part was plastic and it cracked and leaked significantly. A case in a chevy where oil pressure would occasionally dive to zero. All were bad sensors.
