A month ago I had new tires put on and got rid of my goodyear duratracs. I just noticed today my wheels had these symetrical divet marks all the way around the wheels on the lip near the tire. On each wheel with the overall same pattern. At first I thought maybe it was an installation error. Long story short, we figured out that the duratracs I had, had the rim/wheel protector bead that sticks out over the lip of the wheel to protect it from rocks. The rubber ridges wore the finish off the wheels where there were ridges in the rubber. Now its noticable because these new tires dont have a deep wheel protector. It may have just been that it was the duratracs, just about everything else about them sucked.
