Don't hate on this new 4 cylinder transmission. I'm sure it can go 1 million miles in real world just like the A750.

 

4 cylinders in the transmission plus 4 cylinders in the engine makes it a V8 am i right?

 

OP is your trans AT or MT? and do you know if this was low fluid related?

 

Are trucks are all hosed up to just like yours but most don't do anything about them because we are fanboys.
100's of thousands of people are lining up service centers at dealers for problems just like yours !

AT and it's a new trans .

 

My hood vibrates, my radio keeps rebooting, my crankshaft sensor went out,my transmission flares,my sunroof is leaking,my differential howls,my lower control arms whistles,I have delay from reverse to drive. Did I forget any more issues with my truck.

 

I've never seen a troll post get so many responses. People around here are chomping at the bit to pile on the shit.

 

Just tipped 30k miles with 10k of that offroad. Not without squeaky leaf springs. But its been a solid truck for me.

 

Toyota is buying it back.

They did the 2 day review of my service records and now I'm in the
30 day buy back process .

 

If they forgot the c-clips on the connecting rods in the engine like Honda did on the civics earlier this year which shut down production and borescoped other civics already out there, would it make the little holes up front whistling make you feel better which are fixed in 15 seconds? Oh, I forgot the radio.
All cars have issues, minor ones are beer talk.
