My buddy's is willing to sell me his old rims/tires for $500 if I'm willing to swap the stock wheels and tires of my Tacoma 2013 on his truck. My tires got a good 4 years left and rims are flawless.

Method envy 17 inch (set of 4)
toyo all terrain (maybe 1 year of tread left)

    Worth it?

What kind of truck does he have? Tacomas have a specific bore and many wheels can fit but they won't fit properly.

Why does he want to sell them? Ride in his truck and see if they cause nasty vibrations. If they seem to ride nice, it's only up to you if you want to trade.

I personally like the Method NVs a lot. But I wouldn't swap my rim/tire combo AND pay up $500. That's all up to you brotha.
