looking for a daily driver tire for my 5 lug since the 31s arn't my cup of tea in the driveablitiy factor. Gas milage was fine at 17 to 18 but im looking to do better and gain my power back. my pro comp 31 tires only have like 2k miles on them :( . hopefully the 235s will give me a little boost in power again. Lifted my truck with the 2.75 front and back so I need the 235s to kinda look okay and not werid also my rims spec will only fit 235s on the lowest so I want to keep my nice rims ;). my divorce from the 31 tires is basically from my lack of knowledge and hills around my area. If you live in a flat area the 31s could be great honestly. Hills on the other hand even in stock tires gave me a struggle snuggle. I expect power to not be exactly golden with 235s and gas milage to go down from stock with the lift and bigger tires. hoping I get around 20 mpgs again. does anyone have the 235s on the lift and like them? any cons?

I have cooper at3 235 75 15 tires and get about 19mpg but I drive fast. There is still enough power to pass and merge on interstates.

I don't do any real offroad but it does fine on dirt/gravel roads when I go shooting. I originally wanted to get the Goodyear wrangler radial tires but the cooper tires had better reviews and I got a good deal on them. I can't say much about the tread life though, because my alignment has been out of spec and the outer edges of the tires have worn out. My next set of tires will probably be a 30 inch tire to sit higher up.

good to know im looking for goodyear or the same model 5lugfury has, but yours look good to just never heard the brand and I am scared of that haha. The 235s look great and seem to still have power. I would reccomend stayinf away from the bigger tires unless you dont mind and I mean dont mind a huge power loss. The 31s will make you feel like your driving a semi truck...

I will record a video od my 31s just so people on this thread know what there getting into when you get the 31s. They are slow on flats but can do okay once you kick it up, but every light every hill you will be dreading.

That's why I don't want to get 31s. But according to some people on here, 30s do not show noticeable difference over the 235 tires which are 29 inch.

Goodyear Wrangler TrailMark 31's. F.B's 2.75" spacer, TRD rear shocks, stub antenna, ripped out charcoal filter added AFE dry, Chrome grille, upgraded to SR5 sun visors, variable wipers, backup camera, HID DDM 35w 5000kv, ebay fogs w/yellow LEDs.
Wow u must be really bogged down with 31s.
I cruise 75-80 from North park to the 3 exits before the border(15miles) with freeway hills galore and only one of the hills do i shift down to third to keep 75mph.

I did some things to help like removed the 2nd charcoal filter and stock then put in an AFE dry air filter and a Crawford's "ecoblock" and im happy with the difference in performance. Also steel rims are anchors get aluminum! That was the biggest difference in performance.

It might be the steel rims damn. How do I find cheap aluminum rims that would work. Kinda just wanna slow down on the spending I already spent close to 2 grand everything included rims tires lift parts. how muh were your rims with the lug nuts im thinking that might be a quick fix. I am considering regearing it and dropping the 1k to do it idk yet still in the thinking process. I might just ride these rims and tire out and plan better in the future. I dont mind the ride when im not going on hills its actually really nice its just if I stop at a hill from a light or something I feel like its dogging it just to keep back up. I think im just paranoid since it was a huge change.

I have Goodyear Wrangler ST's. They are the street oriented LT-rated SUV (Jeep, Ford) tire. Mine came to me with less than 10k km's on them. I've put 20k km's on since, no signs of unusual wear. Certainly better than the OEM Dunflop's. I'm running 16 rims, with 225/75R16's, so near comparable to a 235/75R15 in overall size/application.
