If you floor it often enough for it to be a major problem, you probably learned to drive in California.

So the biggest complaint most reported problem was "the radio goes off without warning" ? I see at the top of the page.

    OMG

    Get a life !
This site is becoming something I do not look at as frequently for obvious reasons.

Some people have problems with their new truck and it's been a frustrating experience for them to get the important issues resolved.

I'll take your word for it, my 14 tundra has a long delay too. I just like making California jokes when the opportunity rises

Better trade it in on a Frontier while there's any semblance of resale value left.

    http://www.carcomplaints.com/Nissan/Frontier/2016/

Of course with the figures not being stated relative to sales volume, they're pretty useless for comparison between brands.

Are you just discovering this? That site had that same reported number like 4-5 months ago.

I think it should be clearly obvious that any reported issues are FALSE. Impossible for any issues with a Tacoma, and well if there are any they could only be cosmetic at worst.

Anyone on here letting others know about their problems and resolutions are CLEARLY trying to hurt our dear old Toyota and have no life.

Am I one of the cool TW'ers now? I did the three D's that seems so popular around here... defend/deflect/disrespect.

Many thanks @smitty99 for making awareness to the record number of 3rd Gen complaints. This will help all current and future members down the road. Keep posting to

Remember the gas pedal issue gentleman in 2009? Multiple lives lost before a corrective action. We and our loved ones deserve better.

He actually has a valid point and his actions will help you and future customers. There are actually over 104 complaints that have not yet posted.

Does it have to go to the floor? I didn't have to push to the floor it accelerated really well without flooring it. I might do ashort movie tomorrow.

Edit: what exactly do you want to see in da movie -my foot pushing pedal to the floor?

I have been a member of this site for two weeks and I already have the top 5 gen3 complainers usernames memorized. There is a big difference between trying to inform perspective buyers and perpetually complaining. I am considering not using this site as a resource for information for my upcoming mods and tinkerings. Specifically because a thread can't be positive without the same old people bitching about the exact same issues OVER and OVER. If 3rd gens are so bad... Get rid of yours. If you want to inform people to look out for issues, do it in a way that doesn't require 35,000 posts for gods sake.

Ok, as far as acceleration from a stop... I have an brand new neighborhood with nice, brand new empty roads to test it out.
Now, I have a 2017 SR5 4X4 so maybe they "fixed" these issues in the month or two since the line was making the '16s.

Stopwatched from floor punch to obvious acceleration.

Now, I don't know what y'all consider slow... But half a second to wind up is better than the cold air intake, supercharged, chipped 5.3L V8 4X4 Z71 Silverado I drove before this. So, I'm comfortable with my take-off times. Especially with Drive+ECT!!!
    2016's may be different though.
