    Hello all,

I have Fox RR coilovers and the coils themselves have about 100k miles on them so I think it's probably time to replace them. The coilovers are cranked down to about a 3" lift and ride a little rough.

I want the same lift and a softer ride, I'm thinking I'll stick with a 600# coil but I'm unsure if I should go with 600# 13" cranked down or the inch longer 600# 14" (king or OME) coils?

Anyone have experience/ knowledge on the difference of ride quality between these two coil sizes?

Truck is DCSB with stock bumper

14" will work, that is the direction I ended up going, because I wanted red springs (PAC Racing springs) preload is preload, to achieve ride height you still have to adjust the preload the same and the ride will be similar for a 600# 14" and a 600# 13" spring.. if you want more height out of the shock with out adding preload you'll need to add a spacer to the top plate.

Excuse my ignorance but wouldn't it be an inch less of preload (or similar) though because the 14" spring in an inch longer?
