I got my 2nd chance to take good care of my brand new headlights and avoid having to platsti-polish them once a year, and just install some protection film. What film brands are the best and where should I buy?.

I really want a set of Weathertech Lampguards because they design and make all their products right from the start, but don't want to pay $10 shipping directly from Weathertech. Are Lamin-X and X-Pel headlight films any good?

I've had the X-Pel film over my headlights and fogs since the 2007... still looks like new.

I don't know where you live, but Weathertech products are sold in various retail stores around the country. I bought my vent visors at the local shop, paid no shipping and got a 20% discount off the Weathertech website price. Check the Weathertech site for a list of retailers

I went with X-Pel - $40 from Autoanything with one of their typical 20% deals and free shipping. A product of this quantity shouldn't cost $65.

Thanks to everyone who provided useful comments.
